摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a bandwidth of an uplink from a relay station to a base station. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a wireless communication method in a system such as a WiMAX system, for example, in which subscriber stations (MS) are operable to communicate with base stations (BS). The base station is capable of performing simultaneous communications with a plurality of the subscriber stations simultaneously by the exchange of packets each conforming to a layered protocol of the system. The packets include a PHY header for defining physical layer (PHY) parameters and a MAC PDU for defining media access layer (MAC) parameters. Furthermore, communication between the subscriber stations and the base station is performed wholly or partly through at least one relay station (RS#1). In the relay station, a plurality of packets are received from the subscriber stations (MS), and the MAC PDU of each of the packet is detected.
