<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and remotely recognize abnormality in a monitored person and to surely cope with the abnormality of the monitored person while performing efficient monitoring excluding useless contacts and visits. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring system includes: a using state collection means 111 for collecting the using states of electricity, gas, city water, a telephone set 104, and an information processing terminal 105 in a residence in which the monitored person lives; an abnormality decision means 112 for deciding whether the collected using states are abnormal states different from normal using states or not; a monitored person's residence detecting means 113 for detecting whether the monitored person or a third person is present in the residence or around the residence or not; and an abnormality notification means 114 for notifying the abnormality to a prescribed contact address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
