PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having a front panel constituted to facilitate replacement and cleaning of a filter provided at a suction port, and facilitating opening/closing and attachment/detachment of the front panel. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a body 1 formed with an opening in the front face, and the front panel 2 installed at the front face of the body 1 to open/close the opening. The air conditioner further comprises a lifting opening/closing unit 10 for lifting and opening/closing the front panel 2 with respect to the body 1, and a hinge opening/closing unit 30 for turning to open/close.
