PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet delivering apparatus capable of accurately detecting a defect of a nozzle face, and a liquid droplet delivering head inspecting apparatus. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element 48 generates a pressure wave in a pressure room 46 in which liquid is stored in accordance with a driving wave form of a driving signal to be fed, and a liquid droplet of the liquid is delivered from a nozzle 40 made to communicate with the pressure room 46 and into which the liquid is fed by the pressure wave generated in the pressure room 46. When the nozzle face being the surface on which the nozzle 40 is provided is inspected, a driving signal of the driving wave form by which, after the liquid is made to overflow to the outside of the nozzle 40 and the liquid is stuck on the nozzle face, the liquid droplet is delivered from the nozzle 40, is formed by a head control part 64 as it is fed to the piezoelectric element 48 at each period for delivering the liquid droplet one time.
