摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular shock absorber capable of preventing any damage of a component even when the hydraulic pressure is abnormally increased due to the expansion/contraction of a shock absorber body. SOLUTION: A vehicle height adjusting mechanism 25 comprises a pressure sensor (a hydraulic pressure detection means) 45 for detecting the hydraulic pressure generated by the expansion/contraction of a shock absorber body 23, and a solenoid valve (a hydraulic pressure release means) 46 for releasing the hydraulic pressure when the hydraulic pressure detected by the pressure sensor 45 exceeds a predetermined value.
