PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system accurately judging from which page conveying operation of a sheet should be started again when the conveying operation of the sheet is started again after abnormality of conveying of the sheet is released. SOLUTION: The image forming system is equipped with an image forming apparatus 10 and a bookbinding apparatus 500 connected to the image forming apparatus 10 and applying a bookbinding processing to the sheets discharged from the image forming apparatus 10. An accessary controlling part 214 on the bookbinding apparatus 500 side judges which image starts again the conveying operation of the sheet transferred, based on detecting information of sensors 55a, 55b and 55c detecting the abnormality of conveying of the sheet and detecting information of a tray sensor 55a when the conveying operation of the sheet is started again after the abnormality of conveying the sheet is eliminated.
