PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for culturing sand-submerging bivalves, which can surely supply feeds to the sand-submerged bivalves through four seasons, using a simple constitution and can continuously enlarge and can make the spats of the sand-submerged bivalves grow. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1a for culturing the sand-submerged bivalves comprises a receiving portion 2 comprising an upper side-opened dent portion; a granular material 3 which is laid on the bottom of the receiving portion 2, receives the sand-submerged bivalves, and is used for bleeding the periphytic fine algae as the feed for the sand-submerged bivalves on the surface thereof; a water supply portion 4 for supplying seawater, fresh water or brackish water 5 to the receiving portion 2; and a water discharge portion 6 for draining the seawater, fresh water or brackish water 5.
