The system (10) comprises at least two high voltage masts to which high voltage conductors are fixed for conveyance of high voltage electrical current. The conductors are fixed to the masts by insulators. Between the high voltage masts at least one distance holder is fitted between the conductors with such a shape that the conductors have counterposed electromagnetic field strengths and are positioned opposite to each other in a regular polygonal or hypothetical circular shape or related form such as an ellipse or similar. The first and second masts (20) and (30) are preferably of metal and are each provided with insulators (21-29) (31-39), which hold the conductors on the masts. The conductors are suspended by their own weight in the form of a chain line with the deepest point in the middle bewteen the first two masts. Between the masts (20,30) are four distance holders (50,60,70,80) and fitted between the wires. Each of the distance holders is provided with four rigid insulating parts (51-53,61-63,71-73), and (81-83).
