<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator of which the beam is largely bent while saving power, and to provide an optical scanner and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator has: a long beam 2321; and piezoelectric elements 411 to 414 connected to the beam 2321, wherein the beam 2321 is bent by expanding and contracting the piezoelectric elements 411 to 414 by energizing the piezoelectric elements 411 to 414. The actuator also has, for each one of the piezoelectric elements 411 to 414; a pair of connection parts 511 and 512 which are provided with a space in the expanding and contracting direction of the piezoelectric element to connect the piezoelectric element and the beam 2321; and a space part 513 formed between the pair of connection parts 511 and 512 and between the piezoelectric element and the beam 2321. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
