PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of encrypting backup data while eliminating the need of inputting a password.

SOLUTION: The information processor 10 is provided with a preprocessing means for generating and storing an encryption key encrypted by using a password when acquiring the password, and a backup means for storing backup data encrypted by using the encryption key together with the encryption key encrypted by using the password by the preprocessing means into a storage medium for backup.
