PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost connector for connecting an information recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A pair of mounting faces 63 and 64 which extend horizontally are formed at a guide member 6 with which a hard disk unit 7 engages in a removable manner. A navigation unit side connector 2 for engaging with a connector of the hard disk drive unit has a terminal housed in a connector housing 3 formed integrally by a synthetic material resin, and holes for fastening are formed on flanges 35 formed in the connector housing 3. The navigation unit side connector 2 is fastened to the guide member 6 by fastening screws 91 inserted in the holes for fastening to threaded holes on the mounting faces 63 and 64.
