PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when an optical disk recorded with a UDF2.5 format is inserted into a DVD recorder or the like corresponding to a conventional UDF2.0, a format to the UDF2.0 is guided for a user, when the user follows it, contents are erased erroneously. SOLUTION: When contents are recorded with the UDF2.5 format, initialization of the UDF2.5 format is performed by emptying previously the most inner peripheral side and the most outer peripheral side of a disk. Thereby, even if initialization of the UDF2.0 is performed by a DVD recorder of a conventional DVD 2.0 base, restoring of contents can be achieved simply and surely. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
