PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink guiding device in which ink can be easily guided into an ink absorber without the ink remaining on the guiding surface when the ink is discarded on the inclined guiding surface positioned in an ink disposal area. SOLUTION: In a fringe of the upstream side of a platen downstream of a liquid disposal area 23 where absorbers 25 and 26 are provided, the guiding surface 29 is mounted such that its upper surface descends at a slant toward the upstream side constituting the liquid disposal area 23 side, and a guiding part for conducting ink adhered to the guiding surface 29 toward the ink absorber 25 side is provided in the guiding surface 29. The guiding part is provided with an edge part 31 which conducts liquid by means of a capillary phenomenon, and the edge part 31 may extend to the ink absorbers 25 and 26.
