PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply device which can supply a suitable amount of ink in accordance with each sub tank by using a pump with a common configuration even when the ink is supplied to a plurality of the sub tanks of different capacities. SOLUTION: The ink supply device 11 includes five sub tanks 21 and five ink cartridges 50. The capacities of the sub tanks 21 are different according to a color ink and a black ink. The ink cartridge 50A has a pump 170A, and the ink cartridge 50B has a pump 170B. The pumps 170A and 170B have cylinders 171 as common components. Moreover, individual plungers 172A and 172B consist of common pistons 181 and rods 182. The plunger 172A is operated by a piston stroke L1.
