PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fastening a rail with a wire spring clip, which enables the rails with a plurality of rail specifications to be fastened with the one type of wire spring clip and one type of seat plate. SOLUTION: In this method for fastening the rail with the wire spring clip, the rails 10 are fixed to a rail supporting member 11 by means of the seat plate 13 which is attached to the surface of the rail supporting member 11, and the wire spring clip 15 which is latched to the seat plate 13, in one or more facilities in which the two or more of the rails 10 for conveyance equipment with a weight of 37-100 kg per meter based on the rail specifications are concurrently used. The conditional range of a fastening force required for the fixation of the rail 10 to the rail supporting member 11 is preset for each of the rail specifications. Even if the amount of the deformation of the wire spring clip 15 is changed for each of the rails 10 based on the rail specifications, the one type of wire spring clip 15 and the one type of seat plate 13, which generate the fastening force within the conditional range, are selected, and the rails 10 based on the rail specifications concurrently employed in the facilities are fixed to the rail supporting member 11.
