摘要 The present invention relates to a device for the contact-less measurement of the position of a target (8, 9) comprising: at least one sensor comprising at least three coils, i.e. two transmission coils (LI, LG) and a reception coil (LiVi) or two reception coils (LI, LG) and a transmission coil (LM); means for exciting each transmission coil by an alternating excitation signal; for each sensor, means for measuring the alternating reception signal generated by the reception coils by mutual inductance with the transmission coils, the two mutual inductances between a transmission coil and a reception coil of the sensor being essentially opposed for a given balanced position of the target relative to the sensor; and means for determining from the reception signals a distance between the target and one of the sensors. The invention can be used for measuring from one to all freedom levels of target displacement while maximising the sensor range and minimising non-linearity for a given dimension of the assembly that can be realised on the same bearing plane. The invention also relates to a method realised using the device of the present invention.
