Provided is a heat sink, in which fins wound in a coil shape to form winding units and flattened as a whole so that the arcuate crests of the adjoining winding units and the arcuate inclined faces leading from the former are displaced to form gap portions and contact portions are erected in a groove formed in a thermally conductive substrate. The heat sink is characterized in that at least one of solder, a thermally conductive resin and metal foil is disposed in the clearance between the bottom face of the groove and the arcuate inclined faces of the fins in the groove.
