A stator core (10) is provided with an assembled stator core (12) formed by annularly arranging divided stator cores (13); a fixing member (11), which is arranged on the outer circumference surface of the assembled stator core (12), presses the divided stator cores (13) inward in the diameter direction of the assembled stator core (12) and can fix the divided stator cores (13) in a state where the divided stator cores are annularly arranged; and a brittle section (15) which is formed between the divided stator cores (13) and the fixing member (11) and can be deformed by a pressing force applied by the fixing member (11).
