<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of degrading of a position detection accuracy of a touch panel due to an induced voltage caused by a polarization inversion of an opposite electrode of a display panel, and to elongate a position detection period in a display unit having the display panel and the touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: The display unit includes a touch panel drive circuit for applying a signal voltage identical to a common voltage, which is a signal voltage to be applied to the counter electrode facing a transparent conductive film of the touch panel during a display period and a non-display period of the display panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
