PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely estimate the charged state of an electricity storage module. SOLUTION: In a charged state detection device for use in an electricity storage device 2 comprising the plurality of electricity storage modules 11, 12 capable of optionally setting the number of parallel connections and each capable of being charged/discharged, the charged state detection device includes electricity storage module connection changing means (22, 24, 25, 91), electricity storage module voltage detection means (50, 60, 91), and an electricity storage module electricity storage state estimation means. The electricity storage module connection changing means includes a disconnection means (S7) for disconnecting a positive pole side or a negative pole side of the first electricity storage module while maintaining the connection of the second electricity storage module when the electricity storage state of the first electricity storage module is estimated. The electricity storage module voltage detection means includes a means (S9) for detecting the voltage of the first electricity storage module while the connection of the positive pole side or the negative pole side of the first electricity storage module is disconnected.
