PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficiency improvement in connection processing between a thin client and a blade server and securing of proper security in a thin client system. SOLUTION: This information processing system 10 comprises a thin client 200 which reads the storage information of a portable storage medium 50, transmits a connection establishment request including information for authentication to the destination of the address of a blade server 300, transmits operation information to the destination of the address of the blade server 300, and receives video information from the blade server 300, and displays it to an output interface by a connection establishment part; an establishment determination part which receives a connection establishment request, and determines the propriety of the acceptance of the connection establishment request according to information for authentication, and returns the determination result to the thin client 200; and a blade server 300 which receives operation information from the thin client 200, and performs information processing, and transmits video information showing the result to the thin client 200.
