PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which permits the thinning without degrading the strength in portable equipment. SOLUTION: The portable equipment is provided with: a housing having a first opening part; a first protective panel disposed on the first opening part; and a first display device which is disposed in the housing on the lower side of the first protective panel; wherein the first display device has a substrate and the first protective panel is attached onto the substrate of the first display device with a transparent adhesive. The portable equipment is provided with a cushion material disposed on a position of the opposite side to the first protective panel of the first display device, wherein the cushion material is overlapped at least on a part with the first display device as seen from the direction vertically crossing the first display device.
