PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damaged hair-repairing agent and a hair cosmetic material excellent in repairing effect on the damaged hair. SOLUTION: The damaged hair-repairing agent is prepared by blending such compounds as a copolymer of polyfluorooctylmethacrylate, N,N-diethylaminoethylmethacrylate, 2-hydoxyethylmethacrylate and 2,2'-ethylenedioxydiethyldimethacrylate and/or their salts.
