PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition for producing a paper feed roller having both excellent abrasion resistance and friction properties and a paper feed roller obtained by using the thermoplastic elastomer composition. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises 10-99 mass% of a thermoplastic elastomer (A) having a side chain containing at least one selected from the group consisting of an imino group, a nitrogen-containing heterocycle and a covalent-bonding crosslinking site and a carbonyl-containing group and 1-20 mass% of a thermoplastic polymer (B) containing at least one bond selected from the group consisting of an amide, an ester, a urethane and an ether in the molecule.
