PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary support for a long plate capable of being easily removed after temporarily supporting the long plate surely and blocking the long plate from being in direct contact with an execution surface. SOLUTION: The temporary support 10 for the long plate comprises: a plate holding part 20 deformable from the holding state of surrounding the periphery of a space S for mounting the plate formed on the inner side to the removable state of opening at least one surface on the side of the front surface S1, on the side of the upper surface S2 and on the side of the back surface S3 around the space S for mounting the plate; and a leg part 30 extending from the plate holding part 20.
