<p>A grommet that is an elastic body and is fitted over an electric wire group laid between a vehicle-body panel and a movable body that is a door or a trunk lid hinged to the vehicle-body panel. The grommet has a large diameter section having, at both ends in the longitudinal direction, annular engagement grooves inserted and engaged with through-holes individually formed in the vehicle-body panel and the movable body, small diameter sections contiguous to the large diameter section, and a bellows tube section contiguously provided between the small diameter sections on both sides. The bellows tube section is bent in a U-shape when the movable body is closed and has large diameter crests and small diameter roots that are alternately continuously arranged at equal intervals across the overall length of the bellows tube section. That specific region of the bellows tube section that holds the top of the bend when the bellows tube section is bent in U-shape has a greater wall thickness than the remaining regions to make the curvature radius of the bend greater.</p> |
