<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To moderate a change in control characteristics at a grip limit of a wheel and allow a driver to improve stability by appropriately controlling a vehicle without an uncomfortable feeling. <P>SOLUTION: In a throttle valve controller 1, a map setting unit 1a sets a variable threshold ε in response to a value of a road surface μ on a map of a preset accelerator opening-throttle opening. The variable threshold ε is set to a higher value as the road surface μ is higher, and the variable threshold ε is set to a lower value as the road surface μ is lower. In a region in which the road surface μ is higher than the variable threshold ε, the accelerator opening is set so that an amount of a variation of the throttle opening corresponding to the accelerator opening becomes lower than a normal amount of a variation. That is, if the road surface value μ is higher, the normal characteristics also may provide sufficient stability; however, if the road surface μ is lower, the characteristics are changed so as to provide the sufficient stability for an accelerator operation by the driver by lowering the amount of the variation of the throttle opening corresponding to the accelerator opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
