PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collecting system capable of greatly reducing time required for data acquisition, dispensing with complicated work in data acquisition, greatly reducing a load of a data collector, and surely collecting data irrespective of loss of an apparatus or a model change of the apparatus used for data acquisition. SOLUTION: A tag 10 is installed in a unit 1 with a communication function, and data of the unit 1 with a communication function are acquired and stored in the tag 10. A tag reader 20 is prepared, and when the tag reader 20 is brought close to the unit 1 with a communication function, wireless communication is carried out between the tag reader 20 and the tag 10 and the data inside the tag 10 are transmitted to be stored in the tag reader 20.
