PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is advantageous for reliably regulating a gap formed between a display surface of a liquid crystal panel and the edge part of a front panel constituting an opening, and to provide a liquid crystal module and a front panel for the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal module 21 includes a liquid crystal panel 22, a backlight device 24 and a chassis 26 or the else of holding them. The liquid crystal panel 22 is disposed in a housing 12 such that the outer circumference of the liquid crystal panel 22 is clamped from front and back directions from the chassis while facing the display surface to the opening 1402. A hook 50 is projected backwards from a part nearer to the opening 1402 on the back surface of the front panel 1401 and the hook 50 is engaged with a part of the chassis 26 clamping the outer circumference of the liquid crystal panel 22 and blocks a displacement of the part of the chassis 26 to the back side.
