PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-stability projecting device which can prevent rotation of the body of the projecting device and inclination of the projecting device, resulting from its operation. SOLUTION: A support section 20 is set on a table surface 60. The body 10 of the projecting device projects images. The body 10 of the projecting device is turnably supported by the legs 21 of the support section 20 via a rotating shaft parallel to an X axis perpendicular to the direction, in which an image is projected and parallel to the table surface 60. Operation switches 41 to 46 on the body 10 of the projecting device are located near the rotation shaft of the body 10. Consequently, even if the operation switches 41 to 46 are operated, rotational moment about the rotating shaft, produced by the operation, can be decreased. This prevents rotation of the body 10 of the projecting device and wobbling or inclination of the projecting device 100 as a whole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
