PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive double stator motor for ensuring required high accuracy, and eliminating a precision process when a permanent magnet is attached to an penetration hole in a rotor. SOLUTION: The length L1 of the permanent magnet 56 is shorter than the length L2 of the penetration hole 55 in the rotor 50. Tapered flange faces are formed at upper and lower end faces 55a of the penetration hole 55 for closely contacting with the permanent magnet 56. When the permanent magnet 56 is assembled to the penetration hole 55, the permanent magnet 56 is finely moved along a rotational center line O of the rotor in the penetration hole 55 until upper and lower tapered end faces 56a of the permanent magnet 56 closely contact with the flange faces 55a of the penetration hole 55. Internal and external positions of the permanent magnet 56 can be finely adjusted in the penetration hole 55 as the permanent magnet 56 is finely moved. A manufacturing cost can be reduced by eliminating a high-accuracy process for the penetration hole 55 and the permanent magnet 56 and a polishing process for internal and external surfaces of the permanent magnet 56 after the permanent magnet 56 is fitted into the penetration hole 55.
