PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieval system capable of individually acquiring program information according to user's liking information, and to provide a broadcast receiving apparatus, a program information retrieving apparatus, a program information retrieving method, and a program. SOLUTION: A broadcasting receiving terminal 1400 connected to an ID resolver for providing program information to which an inherent identifier is attached in each broadcasting program includes a local CRID database 1478 for storing the program information transmitted from the ID resolver, a liking analysis engine for acquiring user's liking information and a communication control part for requesting the ID resolver to extract the program information on the basis of the liking information and receiving the program information transmitted from the ID resolver.
