PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending apparatus with which the reduction of the number of stockers and downsizing of a die housing device can be achieved by decreasing the number of the dies to be mounted on the stockers of the die housing device by adding the functions for turning over the front side and the rear side and for turning over the top and the bottom of an individual die. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with: a die layout deciding part 20D for deciding the bending order of workpieces, a die to be used and a die layout on the basis of product information; a die selecting part 20E where divided dies constituting a prescribed die layout are selected from among the divided dies mounted on the stockers h1 (h2, h3, t1) on the basis of die layout information decided by the die layout deciding part 20D and die mounting information about each divided die mounted on the stockers h1 (h2, h3, t1), devices 8, 9 of turning over the front side and the rear side of the die for turning over the front side and the rear side of the selected divided die; and a device 18 of turning over the top and the bottom of the die for turning over the top and the bottom of the selected divided die.
