PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum-cleaner system capable of shortening cleaning time, restraining wasteful power consumption and efficiently executing the cleaning by being configured to clean only a dusty part. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner 200 has a cleaner side communication means 201 while a traveling-body means 100 operated separately from the cleaner 200 has a sensor means 103 for sensing dust, obstacles and traveling distances, a traveling-body side communication means 104 having two-way communication with the cleaner 200, a drive means 102 for travelling, a control means 104 for controlling the means 103, 104 and 102, and a power source 105. The cleaner 200 is guided by communication signals between the communication means 104 and 201 on the basis of the result by the sensor means 103. Thereby the traveling-body means 100 previously specifies a place to be cleaned to guide the cleaner 200, so that the cleaner 200 cleans only the dusty part for shortening the cleaning time, restraining the meaningless power consumption, and efficiently executing the cleaning.
