PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring radiation efficiency of an antenna by partial spherical surface scanning. SOLUTION: This radiation efficiency measuring device is constituted of a support part 10 rotating in the azimuth angle direction, a reflecting plate 60 installed on the support part, an antenna 20 to be measured installed separately from the reflecting plate, and a receiving antenna 30 for receiving a signal from the antenna to be measured at a fixed distance. The radiation power from the antenna to be measured is concentrated to an upper-half spherical surface by the reflecting plate, and thereby effective radiation efficiency can be measured only by scanning the reflecting plate and the half spherical surface over the antenna to be measured.
