The radial piston pump has a driving shaft which is mounted in a pump housing with an eccentric cam (18) and a piston (10) arranged with respect to the driving shaft in a cylinder chamber (4). The piston is movable back and forth in the cylinder chamber by rotating the driving shaft, in which a piston wedge (20) provided with a recess for receiving a drive shaft-sided piston end (11) is charged and balanced by the eccentric cam. The piston end contains a conical casing surface section that lies on a plane of the corresponding conical casing surface section of the piston wedge recess.
