A valve according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a valve body and a valve core. The valve body has a chamber and a plurality of fluid passages each having a first fluid port opening to the chamber and a second fluid port for connecting to a corresponding external device. The valve core can be operated to move in the chamber. The valve further comprises a first sealing element to prevent leakage of fluid through a valve opening and at least one second sealing element to separate a space formed between the valve body and the valve core into areas. Each area accommodates at least one first fluid port for leading fluid into the areas from a corresponding external device, so that a fluid pressure difference between two sides of each second sealing element is lower than a fluid pressure on at least one side of the second sealing element.
