<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance support stiffness of respective elements of a deceleration mechanism of a planetary gear and to decrease demand of fit accuracy, in an electric disk brake. <P>SOLUTION: A ball ramp mechanism 19 is driven by decelerating rotation of a rotor 48 of an electric motor 39 by the deceleration mechanism 20 and braking force is generated by pressing brake pads 4, 5 to a disk rotor. In the differential deceleration mechanism 20, when a rotation shaft 30 is rotated by the rotor 48, an external gear member 32 revolves and rotates and a rotation disk 25 and a rotation disk 35 differentially rotate. Then, the ball ramp mechanism 19 is driven as the rotation disk 25 is rotated with a large deceleration ratio by fixing the rotation disk 35. It is possible to enhance a center position precision and the support stiffness of these by rotatably supporting the rotation disks 25, 35 and the external gear member 32 by the one rotation shaft 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
