<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which is useful as an inkjet ink, shows a favorable discharge stability and yields a recorded image showing a high image fastness such as water resistance, light fastness and rub resistance and an excellent gloss, and an image formed by an image formation method whereby the composition is applied to a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The composition comprises a block polymer compound and an aqueous solvent, wherein the block polymer compound includes at least a hydrophilic block segment and a hydrophobic block segment, contains a crosslinkable functional group and forms an empty micelle in which the hydrophobic block segment serves as a core or an empty micelle particle comprising a resin dispersion formed by binding of a plurality of empty micelles in the aqueous solvent.
