PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a motorcycle constituted to prevent the unexpected deformation of exterior parts by breaking a predetermined part based on a plan. SOLUTION: In this air bag device comprising a housing part 47 housing a support belt 15 coupling an air bag 14 to a vehicle body and a belt cover 30L covering the housing part 47, a top shelter center 50 is arranged on the rear side of the vehicle body adjacent to an air bag module 20 housing the air bag 14, and a pair of left and right top shelters 40L and 40R are provided so as to be engaged with the top shelter center 50 outside in the vehicle-width direction. The housing part 47 is constituted of a projecting part 51 of the top shelter center 50 projecting outside in the vehicle-width direction and an overhang parts 51 of the top shelters 40L and 40R extended inside in the vehicle-width direction, which are engaged with each other by engaging portions in the housing part 47. Notches 48 and 49 are formed in an overhang part 41 of the engagement portion outside in the vehicle-width direction along the back and forth direction of the vehicle body.
