PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for printing web color filter for a liquid crystal which is free from the damage or the shrinkage of a coating film to be printed on a film or a base material due to heat and is capable of keeping printing accuracy and high positional accuracy in the printing. SOLUTION: The printing apparatus has a transporting line of a blanket 7 on which a coating film is placed, a coating function of a coating head arranged on one surface of the blanket 7 to apply a coating liquid, a plate 5 arranged on one surface to remove a needless part of the coating film to form a pattern, a primary transfer function of a press transfer unit arranged on another surface to transfer the coating film on the surface of the plate, a transporting subline for the base material, a base material sticking alignment table 9 having position control function and downward movement function and arranged on one surface, a camera 16 arranged on another surface to confirm a mark on the blanket 7 or the base material and a secondary transfer function of a press transfer unit 15 arranged on another surface to transfer a pattern of each color on the blanket 7 to the base material by the base sticking alignment table 9 having the downward movement function and further has a procedure for forming the pattern.
