PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which implements sure electrical connection by locating a circuit board in a regular position regardless of the thickness of the circuit board. SOLUTION: The connector as a connector A for connecting a circuit board P with a counter-part terminal B comprises a hood portion 19 (29) disposed with a predetermined space to the surface of the circuit board P, and at least one pair of grip portions 11a and 11b (21a and 21b) formed on both ends of the hood portion 19 (29) to grip both ends of the circuit board P, wherein the counter-part terminal B is inserted in the predetermined space and the grip portions 11a and 11b (21a and 21b) have the grip width T1 changing according to variation of the thickness of the circuit board P.
