PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recorder and a program, for more surely uniformizing an access period. SOLUTION: In the disk recorder 100, a CPU 12 is equipped with: a logical format program 14B for forming a plurality of logical zones in accordance with physical zones of disk in which a data storage area is concentrically divided into a plurality of annular physical zones, and for performing a logical format process by dividing each logical zone into a plurality of zones to form logical segments; and a recording control program 14D for controlling a magnetic head 1 which records data on the logical format processed disk, a head driving section 2 and an encoder 3, and for causing the data to be stored, when the data storage into the data storage area of one logical segment in one logical zone is finished, into the data storage area of another logical segment adjacent to the one logical segment in another one logical zone adjacent to the one logical zone in the radial direction of the disk.
