PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher capable of finely crushing a material to be crushed using a small diameter crushing rotor even in a case that the whole of the crusher is constituted compactly. SOLUTION: The crusher 1 is equipped with a charging hopper 10 in which the material to be crushed is charged, a crushing treatment part 20 for crushing the material to be crushed and a discharge duct 30 for discharging the crushed material to the outside. The crushing treatment part 20 has a rotary crushing rotor 23 and a fixed crushing lower blade 24. The rotary crushing rotor 23 is constituted so that a crushing upper blade 23b is provided in the width direction of the outer peripheral surface 23a thereof, cutting escape grooves 23e are formed along the crushing upper blade 23b and the material to be crushed is cut between the crushing upper blade 23b and crushing lower blade 24 of the rotating crusher rotor 23 and a vertical blade 23f having blades formed along the rotary direction of the crushing rotor 23 is provided in the cutting escape groove 23e.
