A plasma display panel is provided to lower discharge voltages by arranging a pair of sustain discharge electrodes to surround at least one corner portion of edge regions, which are opposed to discharge cells. A plasma display panel includes plural substrates(101,102), a dielectric wall(103), and plural discharge electrode pairs(106). The substrates are opposed to each other. The dielectric wall is arranged between the substrates and defines plural discharge cells. The discharge electrode pairs are buried in the dielectric wall and separately arranged to be opposed to each other in respective discharge cells. The discharge electrode pairs include a main electrode portion and a protrusion electrode portion. The protrusion electrode portion is protruded in an opposing direction of the main electrode toward the discharge cells. Distances between end portions of the protrusion electrode portions are different from each other according to adjacent discharge cells.
