A plasma display panel is provided to improve a discharge property by increasing usability of a discharge space by generating a counter discharge between a pair of sustain discharge electrodes. A plasma display panel includes plural substrates, a dielectric wall(103), a pair of discharge electrodes(106), and a fluorescent layer(113). The substrates are opposed to each other. The dielectric wall is arranged between the substrates and defines discharge cells with the substrates. The discharge electrodes are buried in the dielectric wall and separated to be opposed to each other in respective discharge cells. The fluorescent layer is applied in respective unit discharge cells to form a sub-pixel. At least four colors are applied on the sub-pixels to form one pixel. The fluorescent layer includes red, green, blue, and white fluorescent layers. The white fluorescent layer contains (CaSr)Al2SiO7:Tb,Ce.
