A hydraulic actuator having a linear damping characteristic is provided to reduce vibration and noise due to an impact by smoothly changing movement speeds of a piston, a rod, and a resistor by having notches at side surfaces of front and rear dampers. A hydraulic actuator having a linear damping characteristic includes a cylinder(1), a piston(2), a rod(3), front and rear blocks(4,5), and front and rear dampers(10,11). The piston is moved along an inner wall of the cylinder back and forth. The rod is adhered to the piston and is moved back and forth. The front block is coupled with a front of the cylinder. The front block has an inlet(6) to flow in and out hydraulic fluid and a flow path(9) to flow the hydraulic fluid into the cylinder. The rear block is coupled with a rear of the cylinder and has the inlet and the flow path. The front and rear dampers are coupled with a front and a rear of the piston respectively. Notch grooves(12,13) are formed on outer side surfaces of the front and rear dampers respectively. |
