A method and an apparatus for measuring a rate error are provided to calibrate an arbitrary resistance rate by only using a digital multi-meter and a resistance measuring unit. Resistors(10) having various resistances are series-connected to each other. One terminal is formed on one side of the resistor, while three terminals are formed on the other side of the resistor. A metal bar(40) for minimizing a resistance rate is implemented on the resistor. The metal bars are implemented for respective electrodes of the resistors. Fixing plates(30) are implemented on upper, middle, and lower portions of the metal bar. Liquid is filled in the metal bar. A coupling rate of the resistors is one of 10:1, 100:1, 10000:1, and 12906:1.
