An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to supply second gate high voltage of a higher level to a front end gate line and supply first gate high voltage of a level lower than the gate scan signal to the next end gate line of the front gate line, thereby ensuring enough charge time according to each pixel cell. An LC panel(102) comprises plural gate lines, plural data lines, first pixel cells, and second pixel cells. The first pixel cells respond to one gate line of the plural gate lines. The second pixel cells share a data line with a corresponding first pixel cell around an adjacent data line among the first pixel cells, and respond to a signal on two adjacent gate lines. Voltage generating units(112,114) generate first and second gate high voltages. By using the first and second gate high voltages generated by the voltage generating unit, a gate driver(104) supplies plural scan signals to the plural gate lines. In the scan signal, a pre pulse of one level of the first and second high voltages and a post pulse of the other gate high voltage level different from the voltage of the pre pulse are shifted at scan periods. |
