The device has a locking section (3) in a form of a projection, attached to an elastically deformable locking arm (2). A guide (8) is attached to a component (1) in a form of a plug element, and the locking arm is elastically deformed in a deformation direction from the guide to an expanded bearing. A safety washer (12) is adjustably guided between the locking arm and the guide, which is transverse to the deformation direction, into an adjusting direction. The safety washer is guided into the guide in a linear adjustable manner.
